Rodney Harris MRSS is a sculptor, printmaker, educator, and part of the award-winning collaboration with artist Valda Jackson as Jackson&Harris (J&H).

J&H are currently commissioned by Peabody/Mount Anvil on the final phase of the redevelopment of the St Johns Hill Estate in Clapham, London, opening in 2026.

He is the co-founder and co-chair of the EarthArt Fellowship and Gallery at the school of Earth Sciences at University of Bristol. The giant print “A Delineation of Strata”, 1.8m x 2.4m, featured in Earth: Digging Deep in British Art 1781-2022, RWA Bristol 2022.

Visiting lecturer on the Masters Architecture course at Nottingham University.

JACKSON&HARRIS.  

Award-winning artists Valda Jackson MBE (Studio 94) and Rodney Harris, collaborate on public art projects. They have been commissioned by a range of public and private clients across the UK for sculpture within new architecture. Four Brick Reliefs, commissioned by the Peabody Trust at the St. John Hill’s Estate in Clapham, London, won the Marsh Award special prize for Excellence in Public Sculpture from the Public Statues and Sculpture Association in 2017.
