Elisa Kay

Curator

Elisa Kay joined Spike Island in August 2015, initially working on the Spike Associates programme and, since March 2016, as a curator in our programming team.

She has worked in a number of galleries and arts organisations around the UK, including as the first Curator/Director of Flat Time House, where her programme of exhibitions and events contributed to a body of research around the work of British artist John Latham and initiated a dialogue with subsequent generations of artists; Project Manager on How to work together, a programme of commissions produced by Chisenhale Gallery, The Showroom and Studio Voltaire; the Contemporary Art Society’s Centenary Fellow at Nottingham Castle Museum; and Assistant Curator at Arnolfini. She has curated exhibitions at Lisson Gallery and Chelsea Space, London.

Elisa is also Spike Island’s Network for Creative Enterprise Hub Producer, working to support artists to develop projects and make a living from their work.
