Talks

This is the third in a series of lively discussions initiated by Spike Associates and supported by Alias as part of their Alias Hubs programme that combine critical debate with professional insights from individuals working within the arts.

Art writing in all its forms is the subject of this session, including criticism, experimental writing, writing as creative practice and ‘scripting’ within art work. The panel includes writer and educator Dr. Mick Wilson, artist Corin Sworn and Tom Morton, writer, curator and contributing editor of frieze. They also discuss some of the more practical aspects of writing, such as building networks and how the commissioning process works.
