Simon Tozer

Simon works primarily as a printmaker specializing in screen print.  Although initially studying painting, his interest in drawing led him to print some time after leaving university.  He subsequently took an MA in Printmaking at Chelsea College of Art.   His work draws on influences from popular art and children’s illustration, and employs a gentle humour to comment on our imperfect human nature, often through the representation of animals.  Recent commissions include an edition of prints for the V & A shop, and for Gromit Unleashed, a large Gromit painted to resemble a strawberry.
